About Scholarship: The University of Southern Queensland (USQ) has been successful in receiving funding of $5.1M under the Commonwealth’s Collaborative ResearchNetworks scheme for the Digital Futures – Collaborative Research Network (CRN) program. Partners in the network are the Australian National University (ANU) and the University of South Australia (UniSA).

Value: The Collaborative Research Network (CRN) PhD scholarship carries a stipend of $30 000 per annum to the successful applicant. Payments are made on a fortnightly basis over the year. The period of the tenure for the award is three years. Periods of study already undertaken towards the degree will be deducted from the period of tenure.
Selection criteria: To be eligible PhD applicants must:
-be enrolled or be eligible to enrol full-time on-campus in a Doctor of Philosophy program at USQ
-commence the degree by 15 July 2013 (Semester 2)
-applications are open to international and domestic students
-International students will be liable for tuition fees and are encouraged to review the costs at Course Fee Finder web site (students will be required to enrol in RES9503 each semester)
Domestic students would usually be covered by the Research Training Scheme (RTS).
